I am so excited to announce that this Red Carpet Mama will be heading to Hollywood on April 23rd for the Iron Man 3 Red Carpet Event. Needless to say I think I screamed when I read the email. My son Ryan is a HUGE Iron Man fan so of course he is jealous and asked if I could sneak him in my suitcase. Of course not honey where would I fit all my shoes lol? However I will try and get you an autograph!

What’s even better is I will be  with 24 other fabulous bloggers, some who I haven’t met yet and some great friends who I haven’t gotten to see in a long time. Not only will I be attending the red carpet event but we will be having breakfast at the world famous El Capitan Theatre and Soda Fountain. I will also get to take my picture with Tony Stark at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum!

Now my only biggest problem is what the heck am I gonna wear? I am thinking Hollywood party dress not too formal. So now begins the search for you know… “That Dress”.

The Muppets Hit the Red Carpet- Oscars 2012!

Yesterday, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy attended the 84th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony to celebrate Hollywood’s most talented performers (and the Oscar-winning hit song ‘Man or Muppet’)! Heating up the red carpet in Brooks Brothers (him), Zac Posen, Christian Louboutin and Fred Leighton (her), this “It” couple made quite the scene. Did you check out Mrs Piggy’s Jewels?

1940s amethyst and diamond ring in gold (70.0 carats) –lavender is her signature color after all
1950s diamond and platinum swirl necklace (55 carats) with matching swirl bracelet (40 carats)

Celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble (Beyonce, Shakira, Kerry Washington) put the finishing touches on Miss Piggy by adding a diamond and platinum headband (approx. 10 carats) and 1040s clip in the back.
